NexaPrivacy
We follow the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We collect as little as we can, and we never sell your information.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address, and your name if you sign in with Google (Google shares your name, email and a Google account number with us; never your Google password).
- Your learning: which lessons you've opened and finished, and which templates you've downloaded, with the dates.
- When you pay: what you bought, the amount, the date and Paystack's payment reference. Paystack handles your card or bank details. We never see them.
- When you email us or join our WhatsApp community: your messages, name and number.
- Your devices: for each sign-in, the type of device and browser (for example "Android phone, Chrome") and a scrambled code made from your internet address (we never store the address itself). We use these to keep your account to two devices and to stop sign-in abuse.
- One cookie that keeps you signed in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we use it
- To give you access to what you paid for, open new lessons each day and save your progress.
- To check a refund request against our fair-use guarantee (how many lessons were opened and whether templates were downloaded).
- To support you.
- To send receipts and important updates about your course or membership.
- To send tips and offers, but only if you've said yes. Every message tells you how to stop them.
Who we share it with
Only the services we need to run NexaHQ: Paystack (payments), Google (only if you choose "Continue with Google"), Resend (sends our emails), Render (our website host) and our database host. They may only use your information to provide their service to us. We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
Your rights
You can delete your account yourself on the Account page. You can also ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to us using it. Email nexahqsa@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Regulator.
How long we keep it
Your account and learning records stay until you delete your account. Payment records are kept for as long as the law requires (generally five years), even after an account is deleted. Unused sign-in links expire after 15 minutes.
