Questions
Good questions to ask before you pay
Do I need a laptop?
No. Every lesson and every task works on an Android phone or iPhone. A laptop helps with some design work but you don't need one.
Will I have to buy tools or software?
No. We only teach free tools: Canva's free plan, Google Business Profile, Google Sites, WhatsApp Business and free AI chat tools like ChatGPT, Gemini or Meta AI. If a paid option is ever useful, we'll say so and tell you it's optional.
How much data does it use?
The lessons are mostly text with pictures, so they use very little. Videos are short and optional. You can save lessons as a PDF and read them offline.
Can I really make money from this?
You can, if you do the tasks and go out and find clients or apply for jobs. Many people won't, and that's the honest truth about any course. We don't promise an amount. What we give you is a skill people pay for, a portfolio, and a system to find work.
Is it accredited? Do I get a certificate?
Our courses are not SETA-accredited, and we won't pretend they are. You get a certificate of completion from NexaHQ, but your portfolio of real work matters more to clients and employers.
How do I get help?
Everything is online. Pro members get the members' WhatsApp community and a monthly Q&A. Anyone can email us at nexahqsa@gmail.com, and we reply within two working days.
What if it's not for me?
Lessons 1 to 3 open as soon as you pay, so you can see how we teach. If it's not for you, email us within 7 days and we'll refund you in full, as long as you haven't gone past lesson 3 or downloaded the templates. It's one refund per person. Read the full guarantee.
Why don't I get every lesson on day one?
Because people who do one lesson a day finish. People who get everything at once usually don't. Lessons 1 to 3 open straight away, one more opens each day, and the templates open on day 8.
Do I have to pay tax on what I earn?
If your taxable income for the year (1 March to end of February) is above R99,000 and you're under 65, you need to register with SARS and pay tax. Freelance income above that usually makes you a provisional taxpayer. Our courses show you how to keep simple records from day one.
